How do I move an employee to a different business unit?

Is an employee assigned to the wrong business unit, for example due to an internal transfer or organizational change? You can update the employee's record and move them to the correct business unit yourself.

Move an employee

1. In the FiscFree platform, go to Users.
2. Search for the employee you want to move.
3. Open the employee's details by clicking Edit.
4. Under Employments, click Edit.
5. In the Company field, select the entity or business unit to which you want to move the employee.
6. Click Save Changes.

The employee will then be linked to the new business unit.

Good to know

Moving an employee is intended for situations where an employee transfers to a different business unit within the same organization. After making the change, always verify that the employee is assigned to the correct business unit.
