FAQ: Network of Fitness Providers

  1. Is the network of fitness providers the same between the two providers?
    In consultation with benVitaal, all fitness providers where employees currently have an active subscription can be activated or reimbursed directly from 3 September. This currently applies to approximately 3,000 fitness providers.
    In addition, the network will be selectively expanded to more than 4,000 fitness providers by the end of the year, ensuring broad geographical coverage as well as a wide variety of fitness options, including gyms, yoga studios, and other sports facilities.
  2. What happens if an employee's fitness provider is not yet affiliated with benVitaal?
    This can happen, particularly with recently opened fitness locations. In such cases, benVitaal will immediately contact the fitness provider to arrange an affiliation. In most cases, the provider can be connected before the employee's start date. If, in the unlikely event, the provider cannot be connected in time, a temporary reimbursement option will be made available to the employee. This allows the employee to retain the gross-to-net tax benefit and continue exercising at their preferred fitness location without interruption.
