FAQ: Requesting a New Fitness Subscription 

  1. How can employees take out a new fitness subscription after 3 September?
    All new applications and upcoming renewals with a start date on or after 3 September 2026 will be processed through the new FiscFree platform, with benVitaal as the fitness provider.
    The new FiscFree platform will officially go live on 31 August 2026. From that date onwards, employees can apply for new subscriptions or renew existing subscriptions through benVitaal.
  2. What is the deadline for placing and approving an order if an employee wants to start exercising in September?
    If an employee wants to start exercising through the new setup from the beginning of September, the order must be submitted by the employee and approved by you as the employer in the new platform before 21 August 2026.
  3. What happens to orders that have already been submitted and approved through BFNL but have a start date after 3 September? Will these still be processed?
    No. These orders will not be processed through BFNL. As the partnership with BFNL officially ends on 3 September, no new activations or renewals can take place through BFNL after that date. Approved orders with a start date after 3 September will therefore be cancelled. The affected employees will be informed and can submit a new application through the new FiscFree platform.
  4. How does the standard approval process work in the new platform?
    With the new provider, benVitaal, fitness subscriptions always start on the first day of the month. To ensure a subscription starts in the following month, the employee's application must be approved by you as the employer before the 21st of the current month.
    (For example: If an employee wants to start on 1 October, the application must be approved in the FiscFree platform no later than 20 September).
  5. What happens if an application is approved on or after the 21st of the month?
    If an application is approved after the 21st deadline, the start date of the fitness subscription will automatically be postponed by one month, to the first day of the following month.
  6. Will employers receive a reminder if there are still applications awaiting approval before the 21st?
    It is recommended that you review all pending applications on Monday, 20 August, to ensure that all requested subscriptions can start on 1 September. We will also do our best to remind you by email before the approval deadline.
