FAQ: Basic-Fit, workit en Wellhub
FiscFree is partnering with benVitaal as its new fitness partner. In addition, we have started a partnership with Wellhub. As a result, Basic-Fit will remain available through FiscFree, while you will also gain access to an extensive network of sports and wellbeing providers.
What does Wellhub mean for me?Wellhub gives you more choice and flexibility. In addition to access to Basic-Fit, you can benefit from tax advantages through FiscFree, a large sports and wellbeing network, attractive rates, and options for family members with selected plans.
Can I continue working out at Basic-Fit through FiscFree?Yes. Basic-Fit will remain available through FiscFree. Because Basic-Fit works with a limited number of partners for corporate fitness, we offer Basic-Fit through our partner Wellhub. This means you can continue working out at your familiar Basic-Fit location.
How does a Basic-Fit membership through Wellhub work?You simply start your application through FiscFree. After selecting a Basic-Fit location, we will guide you to a separate application process for Basic-Fit.
You choose your preferred membership period and complete the application through FiscFree. Just like with other fitness memberships, you choose how the membership will be paid for using your available benefit budget. The application is then submitted to your employer for approval.
Once your application has been approved, FiscFree will create a Wellhub account for you and add sufficient credit for your chosen membership period. You can then activate the Basic plan within Wellhub and use it to work out at Basic-Fit.
Why do I receive credit in Wellhub?Basic-Fit is offered through FiscFree in partnership with Wellhub. This means the financial process works slightly differently from a regular fitness membership.
Once your application has been approved, FiscFree adds credit to your Wellhub account. This credit is sufficient to use the Wellhub Basic plan for your chosen membership period, giving you access to Basic-Fit.
Can I use my Wellhub credit for a different plan?Yes. In addition to the Basic plan, Wellhub also offers other, more expensive plans. However, the credit provided by FiscFree is based on the Basic plan for your chosen membership period.
For example, if you choose a six-month membership through FiscFree, the credit will be sufficient to use the Basic plan, including access to Basic-Fit, for six months.
You can also choose a more expensive plan within Wellhub. In that case, your credit will be used up more quickly and may run out before the end of your chosen membership period. After that, you can only continue using the plan by paying the additional costs yourself. These additional costs are not processed through FiscFree and therefore do not qualify for the tax benefit.
What happens if I choose a more expensive Wellhub plan?You can choose a different plan within Wellhub, but the amount of credit provided by FiscFree will not change.
If you choose a more expensive plan, for example, your credit will be used up more quickly and may run out before the end of the membership period you selected through FiscFree. You will then need to pay any additional costs yourself.
FiscFree will not add additional credit in this situation. If you want to use your credit throughout the entire chosen period to work out at Basic-Fit, we recommend choosing the Wellhub Basic plan.
Will there be an alternative to workit?Yes. Wellhub offers an attractive alternative for employees who value flexibility. While workit focused on flexible access to sports facilities, Wellhub provides access to a broad network of sports, wellness and wellbeing providers. This gives you more choice, attractive benefits and the flexibility to tailor sports and physical activity to your personal situation.
What does this mean if I currently use workit?You can continue using your current workit product for as long as it remains active. Once it ends, you will temporarily be unable to purchase a new comparable product through FiscFree.
In the meantime, you can of course continue to use the regular fitness options available through FiscFree. Once the new proposition becomes available, you will also be able to use the new options we are developing together with Wellhub.
When will the new proposition be available?We are working hard to make the new proposition available as soon as possible. Due to the short timeframe for the transition from BFNL to benVitaal, it was not possible to launch it immediately alongside the new fitness proposition.
We want to set up the new solution carefully and will communicate more information as soon as there is greater clarity about the launch date.
