What are compensation sources?
Within the FiscFree platform, you can centrally manage all offset sources and fully align them with your organisation's benefits policy. You can easily create new sources and determine whether they are based on money, hours, periods, or a combination of these. For each source, you can also configure the preferred offset frequency, such as monthly, every four weeks, or daily, ensuring that processing fits seamlessly into your payroll and administrative processes.
Using two simple settings for each source, Taxable and Consumes WKR budget, you determine both the tax treatment and whether the source is charged against the available WKR budget. Net offsets can be configured through the payroll (using the Money type with the Taxable toggle disabled) or by using the Electronic Net Payment type, which allows employees to make an additional payment using iDEAL/Wero (Netherlands) or Bancontact (Belgium). This provides a flexible system that is easy to manage while offering employees a straightforward payment experience.
For each offset source, you specify exactly which products it applies to. For example, if you want employees to be able to offset the cost of a bicycle through their gross salary and/or leave hours, while also offering the option to make an additional payment via iDEAL/Wero, simply add the bicycle to each of the relevant offset sources.
By assigning a unique payroll identifier to every offset source, the correct information is automatically included in the payroll export. This makes the final payroll processing significantly faster and easier.
